Eyelash Extension Infills

You will need to maintain your Classic Eyelash Extensions as your natural lashes grow. An infill is a maintenance appointment where any outgrown extensions are removed and any extensions that have naturally shed with your natural lashes are replaced.

FAQ
1. Will the lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When applied correctly and using only the finest quality adhesive and extensions, lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes even with continuous applications. Please read the aftercare tips to protect the health and quality of your lashes.

2. How long will my extensions last?

Carefully looked after eyelash extensions can remain in place from 3-6 weeks or until your natural lash falls out (lashes grow in cycles of about 60 to 120 days). It is normal to lose up to 5 natural lashes per day. To keep your lashes looking as fabulous as when they are first applied regular 2 – 4 weekly infill treatments are necessary.

3. Can I have eyelash extensions if I wear contact lenses?

You can have eyelash extensions if you wear contacts, but you must remove your contacts just before for the treatment. Your contacts can be put back in after the treatment.

4. How long will my appointment take?

Appointments usually take approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours for the initial set. This will include a personal consultation to determine the custom look you wish to achieve.

5. Is it painful to get lash extensions?

Absolutely not, the eyelash extension procedure is completely pain-free and so relaxing that you may fall asleep. You will be lying down with your eyes closed while your extensions are bonded to your natural lashes one at a time.

6. How do I prepare for my lash extension treatment?

Please come to your appointment with clean makeup free eyes and without your contact lenses in. Read the before care instructions below.

7. What is an infill?

A few weeks after having a full set of lashes applied your lashes will start to fall out naturally and you will grow new lashes. When this happens, you may start to notice your lash extensions thinning out, this is when you should get an infill. Your Infill procedure is when a new eyelash extension is added to your newly grown eyelashes, filling in all the gaps.

1. Please do not wear mascara.

2. Do not have a spray tan before your appointment.

3. Avoid applying any oily products or makeup on your lashes or around your eyes.

4. Contact lenses must be removed prior to the treatment but can replaced afterwards.

5. Please don’t drink coffee two hours before your appointment as it can make your eyelids flutter.

1. For the first 48 hours after any extension treatment it’s important not to get your eyelash extensions wet.

8. It is recommended that you purchase a salon approved eyelash extension cleaner to use weekly to keep the extensions clean.

9. Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics)

10. Groom your lashes every morning with the mini brush provided to ensure they stay neat and pretty.

4. Are there different levels of lift to choose from?

Yes, there are three different shield sizes to choose from to create different levels of lift. This can be discussed with your therapist at your appointment.

1. How long do HD Brows last?

The treatment usually lasts around 4-6 weeks; however, this can vary depending on your hair growth.

2. I have sparse or overplucked brows, can I still get HD Brows?

Your therapist will work with you on a regrowth programme to achieve the perfect brow.

3. How many HD Brows treatments do I need to achieve my desired shape?

This completely depends on the amount of hair you have to begin with. Your therapist will advise you and recommend how many treatments you will need.

4. What’s the difference between HD Brows & microblading?

HD Brows uses various hair removal techniques to create your desired brow shape. Microblading is a semi-permanent technique similar to tattooing, lasting around 1-3 years

5. Is HD Brows semi-permanent?

The treatment is not classed as semi-permanent, however permanent tint is used on the brows during the treatment. The lasting effects of this vary depending on skin type, hair growth and skin care routine. Results of the HD Brows treatment typically last around 4-6 weeks.
